Join us as we explore the realities of domestic violence, sexual violence, and the crucial role YOU serve in moments of crisis. Participants will be equipped with the tools to respond with empathy, courage, and clarity when it matters most. This isn’t just a discussion. It’s a call to action. Through real-world scenarios, guided reflection, and an interactive lesson, you’ll learn how to create safer spaces, foster trust, and stand ready to support students. The presentation will also feature Cause and Effect: A Domestic Violence Simulation | College and University Edition, an interactive exercise that places students in the shoes of individuals navigating the complexities of intimate partner violence. This activity will highlight the intersection of domestic violence and sexual assault, deepening participants' understanding of how various factors influence a survivor’s choices.
